Having successfully reopened after the national lockdown in spring, Touchwood is welcoming visitors back as a delicious destination in Solihull.
With expertly designed safety measures throughout the shopping and leisure destination (you can view this handy video here about them) there’s never been a better time to get back in touch with Touchwood.
As well as being able to shop safely with ease, visitors can access multiple on-site restaurants – many of which are independents now – and take in a film at the cinema. If you’ve been missing date night or need some quality family time, you’ve got all you need under one roof here.
Most excitingly, this month shoppers at Touchwood will be able to enjoy even more dining options (now including three independently owned restaurant brands) thanks to the Government’s new ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ scheme.
As part of the scheme, visitors will be able to enjoy 50% off food and soft drinks when dining up to the value of £10pp, meaning a family of four could enjoy dinner out for £40 less than usual.
Indian favourite Asha’s and Jamaican-inspired Jamaya have been joined by Yakinori on the Gov scheme, with diners enjoying the same tasty Japanese treats as found at the Selly Oak and Grand Central sites.
For those who enjoy the fresh air, guests can also take advantage of the large outside space for beers to go from the on-site bars or a takeaway bite to eat.
General Manager Tony Elvin says visitors can enjoy Touchwood’s dining scene every night of the week, alongside the centre’s other leisure facilities – of which there’s more to come in coming months.
He said: “I’ve been so pleased with the response from our retailers and hospitality venues since we’ve reopened. All precautions have been taken to ensure guests can have a safe and relaxing visit, allowing them to enjoy that little bit of normality we’ve all craved.
“We’re doing what we can to support our Touchwood businesses so have taken the decision to offer free car parking after 6pm throughout August. Along with the ‘Dish from Rish’, the cinema reopening and our blend of independent / trusted brand restaurants, Solihull is a fantastic destination for a summer night out.”
