Birmingham’s ‘smallest coffee shop’ has opened in (everyone’s favourite emo dungeon) The Oasis markets.
The Coffee Bar is located on the top floor (which weirdly is actually street level) of the markets, and is an independent start up. Head past the Nirvana tshirts and suspicious looking pipes and you’ll find the bar at the back.
Currently it’s just a service bar with 4 stools (hence it being probably the smallest coffee shop in Brum) although the lovely chap running it, Al, hinted there may be scope to take over the space next door for more seating in future.
Coffee is roasted in the Midlands and an array of baked goods are available. The house blend is the standard serve but there’s other options available depending on how robust you like your brew. There’s nut milks for those who are dairy free, and most coffees come in around £2.50-£3.00.
Coffee and teas are available for drinking in or taking away. As well as regular coffees you can upgrade to filthy treats like peanut butter lattes.
You can also buy coffee beans for home use – they’ll even grind them for you if you ask nicely.
