From the same organisers that bring you Birmingham Cocktail Weekend and Birmingham Wine Weekend, this brand new event will run from 22nd August to 4th September and includes some of the city’s most-loved venues.
A fortnight designed for food lovers, those attending BRF 2022 will be given access to exclusive one-off set menus and dining experiences at over 40 of Brum’s best restaurants and more.
Each participating venue has curated a bespoke menu for guests to enjoy during the 2-week festival, and there will also be special ticketed dining events across the city to elevate the experience further.
It’s super simple to get involved. All the menus are available to view online; when you want to make a reservation just follow the booking instructions on the Birmingham Restaurant Festival website and book your place.
The full list of participating restaurants can be found here, but you can expect the likes of Le Petit Bois, The Oyster Club, Zindiya, and Sabai Sabai. There’s a huge choice covering lots of cuisines so you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Organiser Alex Nicholson-Evans says:
“Today we are thrilled to reveal the exclusive festival menus that our participating venues have developed. They are mouth-wateringly delicious and offer excellent value for money too.
“We have established Birmingham Restaurant Festival to celebrate and showcase the fantastic restaurants across the city this summer. We hope the festival will inspire you to visit as many restaurants as possible, to spend time sharing a meal with friends or family, and perhaps to try something or somewhere new too.”
A great way to try new venues, or rediscover some old favourites, each restaurant offers 2 or 3 courses (and some even offer tasting menus) at a great price point, meaning you can enjoy a great meal and an affordable dining experience. There’s lunch and/or dinner sittings.
Sounds good right? And the best bit is you don’t need a ticket or a wristband to enjoy the set menus. As long as you make a reservation and follow the instructions on the official website you’ll be all set.
There’s a really handy page on the official website with FAQ if you’d like to know more about how the festival will run. Check it out here.
