Great news for cocktail fans as Birmingham Cocktail Weekend 2021 kicks off in just one month!
Running from 6-8th August 2021, Birmingham Cocktail Weekend will bring some much-needed fun and frivolity to the city, with venues across the city centre taking part. Now in its 7thyear, it’s designed to celebrate the best of Brum’s bar scene.
Having had to operate as an ‘at-home’ event in 2020 (small matter of a global health pandemic) the team behind the popular annual event are thrilled to be back next month, and have some brilliant venues lined up for you.
Each Brummie venue (there’s bars, hotels, restaurants and more taking part) creates a unique signature cocktail for the event that costs just a fiver – to get involved all you need is one of the jazzy wristbands.
You can buy a wristband from the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend website and then collect it from the House of Sensory Hub, along with your event guide, at Mailbox from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th August.
Where and when you visit during the weekend is up to you – just flash your wristband and enjoy an exclusive cocktail (or 5) with your family and friends.
Confirmed venues include Arch 13, Grain & Glass, Hotel du Vin, Ikigai at 1000 Trades, The Pineapple Club and The Button Factory plus many more. The full list of places taking part can be found here.
Founder of Living For The Weekend, Alex Nicholson-Evans says: “It’s fair to say we all deserve a cocktail or two this year and our amazing venues are serving up some fantastic signature drinks this year – and yes I have tried them all, it’s a tough job but someone has to do it! We are so excited to be bringing Birmingham Cocktail Weekend back for it’s seventh year; we’ve got a great line up of venues, some cracking signature cocktails and a handful of special events too. Bring on 6 – 8 August.”
