Vegas wedding broken woman coming through

Well hello there! As you can imagine the last few weeks have been a bit of a blur for me, but I’m pleased to say our wedding in Las Vegas went swimmingly (probably thanks to the endless supply of frozen margaritas) and I’m now officially a wife. Madness.

We actually landed back from our Greek honeymoon just yesterday, so I’ve not had much of a chance to catch up with the blog as yet. But I thought – in lieu of recent posts – I would offer up some of the delicious food and drink we experienced whilst on our travels this past fortnight.

Rhodes and Lindos were absolutely beautiful (the amazing weather helped too obviously) and we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Princess Andriana Hotel and Spa. I think Ian and I would agree our day trip to Lindos – where we stumbled upon this beautiful beach front restaurant – was a real highlight, especially as we discovered it served huge seafood platters.

So yes, a mega time was had ‘mooning. As you can imagine with a five star all-inclusive hotel (oooh get me) this involved and absolutely ridiculous amount of decadent food, not to mention an endless supply of colourful cocktails. I’ve included some snaps of some of my favourite bites and moments from the honeymoon, in case you may be interested.

I can’t wait to catch up with my fellow foodies in the next week, and I’ve already got some restaurants in mind to check out in November. I think about four places have opened since I’ve been away – this city just continues to grow and grow doesn’t it?

Anyway! I’m excited for the next chapter in my life with my husband, Ian, and I’m equally looking forward to some more great bites in Brum. If you have any suggestions, or you’ve got a great new find to share, please do drop me a message!
