January 2020 restaurant deals in Birmingham

Posted on January 2, 2020January 20, 2020 by Laura

I do this post about restaurant deals in Birmingham every year, so I won’t bother with a snazzy intro or some insightful chat about how my Christmas was. I got drunk and fat like the rest of you – thanks for asking anyway.

Here’s the list of January 2020 restaurant deals in Birmingham that may help you save a few quid and keep restaurants busy during a notoriously cack month. I’ll keep adding as I find them – some T&C included, others you’ll need to go research yourselves. There’s a few drink deals coming out too so I’ll add them as well in case it’s useful.

Reminder you also have some great apps for eating well for less at your disposal too, especially at Birmingham independent restaurants, cafes and bars. Take a look at Independent Birmingham, Wriggle, and Too Good To Go for inspiration.

You can usually see the up to date deals on my Instagram stories/highlights too.

*Not a sponsored post. That should be obvious but people like making things up/picking peanuts out of poo for fun sometimes and I haven’t got the energy to argue this week*

So a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a severe vitamin d deficiency and given hyper strength VitD supps. Take 2 of these mini vials a week for 6 weeks - they’re moon juice. I swear to god, every time I have this tiny thimble of radiative goo my body and brain go mad for an hour

Absolutely pathetic to the point of it being almost funny.

British supermarkets & producers increasingly “de-Europeanising” foods for post-Brexit UK.

So for example “Petits Pois” (a term much of the world uses regardless of where they come from) has now become “British fancy peas” with Union flag. 2
