On Sunday I had the single best hangover of my life thanks to Digbeth Dining Club.
As well as the usual Thursday to Saturday openings, last weekend saw the iconic Lower Trinity Street venue open for a one-off event celebrating the humble Sunday roast. Street food and roast dinners combined – the dream was real thanks for Digbeth Dining Club.
Traders included Low N Slow, Patty Freaks, Baked in Brick, Homeboys, Handmade Pizza Co and more, all serving up dishes inspired by the flavours of Sunday dinners. It was, to be quite honest, a fucking triumph. Here’s some of the highlights from the day, including some of the food we scoffed.
These events are well worth your time and money, and the traders work their balls off to bring some truly special, unique food to the party. I loved it. Well played, DDC. Well played.
Disclosure: I paid for all food and my entry to this Digbeth Dining Club event. All words, photos and opinions are mine.
