Food fans rejoice! The first Independent Birmingham Festival for 2019 has been announced.
Taking place at The Bond in Digbeth, the weekend event will run from 18-19 May, and includes food, drink and live music.
These events are ideal if you’re a lover of street food, with a (soon to be revealed) lineup of local superstars that will make sure you’re well fed all day.
The full list of food vendors:
Zindiya, Bonehead, Gaijin Sushi, Baked in Brick, Original Patty Men, Buddha Belly, Wayland’s Yard, El Borracho de Oro, BA-HA Vegan, Kilder, Salcooks, Peel and Stone, Bournville Waffle Co, Street Chef and Yardbirds Chicken.
There’s also booze pit-stops including 18/81, Clink, and Loki selling cocktails, beer and wine, plus a market full of independent businesses selling everything from donuts to paintings.
Tickets are £10 (free for kids under 12) and can be purchased online. It’s dog-friendly. These events always sell out, so make sure you grab a ticket early.
